What Does A Panic Attack Feel Like?
For a person who is new to the experience, suffering from a panic attack can be terrifying and unexpected. Fast heart rate, fear of danger, feeling of dread, upset stomach, trembling, fast breathing, fainting, dizziness and occasional diarrhea or frequent urination are the symptoms. Some also experience a sense of being “distant” from people and surroundings.
Panic attacks often feel like serious health conditions such as heart attacks. Often, people might not be aware of what is actually happening. By preparing yourself before a panic attack strikes, you can alleviate the symptoms and bring relief quickly.
Many people avoid discussing their panic attacks, and regularly ignore them instead of getting help. Some will make this occur probably from embarrassment and personal mind thoughts. Fear of having a panic attack has often been said to bring one on suddenly because the body is in a steady dread of a panic attack starting without warning. It’s very unfortunate that so many individuals suffering from panic attack don’t seek treatment. Besides prescription drugs, most panic attacks can also be treated through counseling and therapy sessions. Anyone can experience a panic attack, there are many people who have an attack for no apparent reason, but often they are the result of stress. However they can also be a sign of illness, past injury or a new health problem or underlying anxiety. These are only a few of the reasons why sufferers of panic attacks should seek help for this painful and stressful disorder.
