For the past year or so, ive been getting this weird sensation mostly at night. I’ll wake up in a panic, fearing that there is something, some force, that is going to kill me. I start sweating and my mind races. I think to myself "Why is nobody else worried about this???". sometimes if they’re really bad ill actually get up, pace, talk to myself. I feel like im sleepwalking but im totally awake. Once, on vacation, I actually went to the door of the hotel in the middle of the night and almost left, because i was in such panic. They usually dont last long, and i eventually talk myself out of it. I occasionally even get the sensation during the day (for some reason whenever i take math tests at school i get a mild sensation..). Whenever i snap out of it i feel so confused, and i dont know why i just did what i did. Am i having panic attacks? Is this normal? Tell me what you think.
Oh by the way, im only 15. I dont have that much stress in my life either, but i guess i do have some from school.
Oh, one more detail i forgot to add. When im having my "sensation", every movement/noise/thought becomes magnified. Like the simple sound of a computer monitor sounds louder and scarier to me. And every normal thought suddenly becomes more panicky.
Pastor Ken- Not to be rude, but I think you may have read my question wrong. I honestly have no idea what you are talking about. My parents have nothing to do with this, I am not abused, and I dont believe this has anything to do with emotional anything. Thanks anyway

That is absolutely a panic attack. I get them as well. I talk myself down from them as best as I can, but I am also on an anti-anxiety medication.

Since you are still young, talk to your parents about them and talk to a school counselor. They should be able to help you!
