Panic attacks in the middle of the night?
This is the third time in a month that i have woken up suddenly in the middle of the night, panicking, shaking, breathing heavily and really scared. I can’t calm myself down and get frightened about being alone. I’m not exactly having a brilliant time at the moment….i’m very stressed at school with 10 essays due in every week, my friendship group is breaking up as everyone is stressed, i don’t see my dad anymore, my love life is all over the place, my dog is unwell and i haven’t had a break of even a day in a month and a half due to the amount of work do you think this could be connected? Have you ever had panic attacks due to stress maybe? could i just not realise how stressed i am? i think i’m making myself ill with everything but i’m scared of how to stop it….and today it continued as my head has been spinning all day when sat in lessons and i constantly feel like i’m going to faint. I hate being so scared Any advice please!?!?!?!? =( =(
I’ve answered a similar question on another post, but it’s even more relevant here… A website I found useful for a friend (very close friend) lists some options available. Let’s cut ‘n paste here….
“Natural panic attack remedies generally fall into three categories: Cognitive Therapy, Emotional Freedom Techniques (Energy Therapy), and Herbal / Supplement Remedies.” What we did, we Googled each category and we got some helpful tips. I recommend you do the same as, I find, different people get panic attacks for different reasons.
