Best Panic Attacks Treatment blog

Welcome to my Best Panic attacks treatment blog

I decided to start a blog after I found a way to help my daughter with her panic attacks. My daughter had been suffering from panic attacks for a few years, she would have an attack every 6 months or so, so I wasn’t that concerned.

When she reached her teens this changed and she started to get panic attacks on a weekly basis. Being a concerned parent I took her to the doctors only to be told don’t worry she will grow out of it and we were given a leaflet to read. We took the leaflet home had a read through it. I have to say I was very disappointed with this and decided to take the matter into my own hands. I started looking on the internet for Panic Attacks Treatment and I have to say I was surprised at all the information. I found many different cures for panic attacks.

I read about herbal remedies, hypnosis, and different types of medication. I did a lot of research on all the different types of panic attacks treatment. I looked into the different herbal remedies. The one and only herbal remedy we tried was lemon balm tea. My daughter tried it, but she really didn’t like the taste. I tried adding honey to it but this really didn’t help. My daughter also made a very good point, if she started to feel a panic attack coming on, she would’t be able to go and make herself a delicious cup of lemon balm tea (my daughter can be very sarcastic) at school. I had to admit she was right so the next option was going to see a Hypnotherapist.

My daughter decided she really didn’t want to do this. She said  don’t want to have to go and see someone; I want to be able to do it at home. I could see that she was getting apprehensive just talking about it so I decided not to go that route either.

I then came across a product called Panic Away. This product was developed by a panic attack sufferer. He now calls himself a former sufferer of panic attacks. I read through the site, read the testimonials and dug around a little. It did seem too good to be true. I decided to find some reviews on this product before I suggested it to my daughter. I couldn’t believe how many people were recommending this product. There were so many people saying such positive things about it. One thing that I kept hearing was that there was a One Move Technique! this technique was capable of controlling and eventually defeating panic attacks for good and naturally. I was intrigued about this One Move Technique so I decided to get a copy of Panic Away to see for myself.

I bought the course and after reading through the book, I decided to help my daughter with the techniques. The first goal in this course is to go a whole week without a panic attack. We both watched the video which lasted about 1hour 45minutes. She worked through the techniques and to my amazement my daughter went well over 3 weeks without a panic attack. I have to say this unique way of learning was perfect for my daughter if I had asked her to read through all the material I don’t think it would have worked.

I then downloaded the mp3 recording onto her iPod. She found this very useful as she no longer felt on her own. This recording guided her through a panic attack and showed her how to stop her panic attacks quickly. Because the school knew she had a problem they allow her to take her iPod with her, if she starts to feel an attack coming on she listens to the recording and feels much calmer. This has been a godsend, no more phone calls in the middle of the day asking me to pick her up from school.

She appears to be more confident and relaxed. Has she had any more panic attacks? She has a couple, but these seem to be getting less frequent. Also when she has an attack she is better able to cope with it, and they don’t seem to bother her. This programme is defiantly helping her with her fear of having panic attacks. Because she feels more relaxed the attacks don’t happen very often.

I am so glad that I have found this product. Thank you, Joe Barry for helping my daughter.

I've posted abt my friend's health condition before. The doc says that he is suffering from anxiety attacks. He took faverin & xanax but the chest pain continued almost everyday. Even when the dosage was increased, the pain continued. Is medication alone enough to cure anxiety attack. What else can he do? How long will it take to cure him? Is medication a must? My friend doesn't believe that he is suffering from anxiety but some major health problem. ..so it's hard to convince him to go for yoga/meditation. What should I do?

You are correct in questioning if medication alone is going to help your friend's anxiety/panic attacks. It will not. The other problem with different types of medications is that some are addicting- such as xanax so over time he will develop a tolerance and will need more to help him. Then when he wants to get off of it he can go into withdrawl. So he needs other things to help.

He needs to learn relaxation techniques such as yoga/medication as you mention. He should also see a therapist who specializes in cognitive behavioral techniques. These techniques can help your friend connect the thoughts in his mind to his symptoms and how to control for them.

If he is convinces he is suffering from some health problem he would have tests to rule it out. I don't know how old he is but whatever, a stress test at age 40 is not an unreasonable request to rule out heart problems. Blood tests for thyroid problems and other issues can be done. If the Dr has already run tests and has not found anything wrong with him- and he is still focused on his health – a therapist is still a good thing to help with his thoughts. Often panic/anxiety attacks happen when we feel his life is out of control. How much stress is he under? Does he have a lot going on with work and/or family? These attacks are a sign to pay attention to how we manage our stress and that we aren't coping in the right way. He may never be cured but he could get things to be manageable if he was able to recognize his thoughts and cope properly with his stress.

You are a good friend to be so concerned about him. Good luck with trying to get him help. Realize he needs to want it, you can only do so much.
